Web Tech - Wordpress Security: Don't Panic!

When I was in college, one of my company instructors told us students that one of the greatest hurdles to making money in business was procrastination.

I back up my blogs using a free plugin WP DB Backup. I will restore my blog to the last 13, if anything happens. I use my blog to be scanned by WP Security Scan plugin that is free and suspicious-looking requests to be blocked by WordPress Firewall to fix wordpress malware protection.

Don't depend on your internet host - Many men and women depend on their web host to"do all that technical stuff for me", not realizing that sometimesthey don't! Far better to have the responsibility lie with you, instead of out of your control.

Keeping your WordPress site up-to-date is one of the easiest things you can do. For the past couple of versions, WordPress has included the ability to set up automatic updates. A new upgrade becomes available.

Note that this last step for new installations should try. You'll also need to change all of the table names inside the database if you might like to get it done for installations.

Do your homework and some searching, but if you're pressed for time try heretry this out and want to get this try the WordPress security plugin that I use. It's a relief to know that my website (and company!) are secure.
